From Valerie Adams, World and Olympic champion in the shot put ranked #1 in the world and slected by the IAAF as 2014 Female Athlete of the Year, answering questions in an IAAF Interview.  She was asked how she motivates herself to stay on top.

"My other main motivation is my country, New Zealand. It’s a small country on the bottom of the world with 15 million sheep and four million people, so it’s great to represent your country doing something that you truly love."
